COLDPLAY ARE PLAYING IN ABU DHABI ON NEW YEAR'S EVE 2016

The Brit band will be returning to the UAE for the third time to ring in the New Year at du Arena

If you're still looking for something epic to do this New Year's Eve, Coldplay have announced that they will be coming to Abu Dhabi on Saturday 31 December to ring in 2017 at du Arena, Yas Island.

The band, fronted by singer Chris Martin announced the news on their Twitter page:

This is the third time that Coldplay have played in the UAE with previous performances in 2011 and 2009 to huge crowds. The event is set to be hugely popular, so be sure to grab your tickets soon. 

Tickets go on sale at 12pm on Wednesday 30 December, but du customers get access to presale tickets at 12pm on Monday 28 November. Flash Entertainment has also announced that Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix ticketholders get a 20 per cent discount on tickets to the gig! 

Previous hits of the band's include Yellow, Sky Full of Stars, Fix You, Paradise and Hymn For the Weekend, which featured Beyoncé.
