Falcons thump Mali 6-0 in AWC opener

Defending champions Super Falcons of Nigeria opened their campaign at the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon with a 6-o win over West African rivals, Mali.
Asisat Oshoala led the Falcons’ attack with, scoring four goals. Francisca Ordega hit Nigeria’s first goal after 22 minutes. Uchechi Sunday scored Nigeria’s other goal from the penalty spot after Osarenoma Igbinovia was fouled.
