Nigeria Abuja pastor opens up after allegedly bribing trader to fake miracle
Bishop Emmanuel Esezobor,
president of Fire House Church International, Nyanya, Abuja, has denied reports
that he allegedly paid a trader to fake his death.
According to Bishop Esezobor,
there is no iota of truth in the report and nothing could be farther from the
truth.
The Bishop who expressed shock
over the report maintained that the allegations could only be a figment of the
imagination of the “faceless
promoters”, NTA reports.
The report had alleged that a member, who was
reportedly paid the sum of N500, 000 and kept in a coffin died before the “fake miracle” could be performed” at a crusade held at the
National Stadium in Abuja. But Bishop Esezobor, who denied holding crusade of any kind at
the National Stadium let alone recording any of such death, posited that he is
a victim of a calculated attempt by “agents
of darkness, who are uncomfortable with his “great works” to tarnish his image
and rubbish the gospel of Christ”. He insisted that attempt will fail as
the ministry has continued to wax stronger than their expectations.
“We
have not had a murder case in the Fire House Alter and all the branches we
haven’t had a murder case for five years we don’t know where they are getting
their stories from these are cheap talkers who are looking for popularity. God
be praised. We preach Jesus we don’t preach self it has been Jesus all the
way.” Bishop
Esezobor stated.
He added: “We have not held any crusade at the Abuja
stadium as the said rumour claimed. We are only planning to hold one next year
February, 15 2017, when we will storm the National Stadium for healing service
and I want everyone to be there to see the power and glory of God at work.”
While puncturing the claims of
the accusers, the Pastor raised some posers: “If they said I paid somebody to fake his death to enable me
perform a sham miracle and the person eventually died in the process, why is
the identity of the supposed trader not in the public domain? Who are his
relations and why are they not saying anything? Which police station did they
take me to and which cell was I detained in? Who is the IPO? All these are
questions begging for an answer.” He stated.
“Challenges
have made me a champion and I see it as a stepping stones to greater things.
Healing is real and I preach it, the Bible says:
“I shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. I have seen God do
mighty things in righteousness and this is a big motivation coming at the end
of the year making us more sensitive and prayerful. We know that the devil is
after the body of Christ and I pray for all the pastors and call on them to go
back to their prayer alters as we are overcomers.” Bishop Esezobor
stated.
