22 people were trapped in a coal mine accident in Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, said the rescuers Wednesday. The accident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Qitaihe city. Rescue work is underway. Cause of the accident is being investigated.

The mobile giant MTN has discussed with Nigeria Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) a possible initial public offering and share sale structure. The first Asian plant of the Lego Group, located in Jiaxing City of east China's Zhejiang Province, has started operations. Three people from Charlottetown who mistook a Stratford, P.E.I., hop farm for a marijuana operation were arrested over the weekend. On Saturday at 3:45 p.m., Stratford RCMP responded to a complaint from a farmer who grows hops for beer production. He’d seen three adults near his farm buildings.
